believe that all things arise from the primordial Abyss/Abzu/Sunyata/Tao which is unknowable but can be experienced by the individual and can be pointed to. I
believe that the nature of the unconditioned Abyss is creative compassion and that within itself it said; "I am" and, all at once, the One became
Two. Here's a little myth that fits for me: >Out of the meeting of the Two, Creation springs, from the dance of their long lovemaking. > >However
it may have happened (and who can say what ills afflict the deities but they must >be enormous), YHWH shaped the raw materials of creation into the cosmos
and then >imagined he was the Creator. He tried to keep human beings as slaves but the 'Mother', the >life-giving wisdom of the One, had other
plans and sent her serpent of wisdom to free us. I believe that Jesus was a messenger of the All-Loving to wake us up to our true natures. And I believe that
his message was taken and distorted by the literalist, establishment churchmen. They rubbed the Mother out of the picture, turned the Beloved Disciple, Mary of
Magdala, into a whore and the Blessed Mother of God into a bimbo. They hid all reference but one to Jesus' twin. I believe in the revelations to Dame
Julian of Norwich that all is well. I practise Buddhist meditation and daily take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha. I study the Pali Canon (in
translation), Zen and Dzogchen. I claim my priesthood as announced by Jesus. I am a member of an ancient Order of Druids and have been initiated into other
mysteries. I celebrate the Memorial of the Lord's Supper daily for the benefit of all that is. I believe the truth is so obvious that it can only be told
in stories, poetry and dance.
